In this case, Temptress is here to unite all fans of the character Anck Su Namun.

Who is Anck Su Namun?
Played by the stunning Patricia Velasquez, Anck Su Namun is the consort of Imhotep. He attempts to resurrect her in the first movie but does not succeed. In The Mummy Returns her character is fleshed out much more and we see her as both the ancient protectress of the Pharoah and as Meela Nais, her reincarnation. Anck Su Namun's bravery as well as her vulnerabilities make her a great villain. She fights for love, but in the end runs away from the very emotion that had sustained her.
