Who is Angela?
The epitome of grace on ice, Angela Nikodinov is 2-time U.S. Bronze Medalist. I have had the opportunity to meet Angela and she exemplifies that same grace off the ice. The death of her coach and choreographer Elena Tcherkasskaia in 2002 has caused some personal grief, but Angela has persevered. She is a natural jumper and I think she has the best layback spin in the figure skating world!
On January 12, 2005, Angela lost her mother in a car accident. Angela was unable to compete at the 2005 United States Nationals but she attended both Nationals and 2005 Worlds to support her friends. Due to injury, Angela will unfortunately not be competing in the 2005/2006 season.
