What is a fanlisting?
According to Janine, the founder of TheFanlistings.Org, a fanlisting is "a place for all the fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people all around the world who are fans of that subject." In this case, Mistress of Magic is here to unite all fans of the Egyptian goddess Isis.

Who is Isis?
Isis is an Egyptian goddess who was greatly revered in Egypt's history as the Mother Goddess. The wife and brother of Osiris, sister to Nephthys, and mother to Horus, Isis was also the symbolic mother of Pharaoh. 
She possessed magical powers and was the only goddess to learn the true name of the god Re. She is often depicted with a throne or cow horns with a sun disk in between on her head, sometimes seated on a throne with or without baby Horus, and sometimes with great protective wings spread before her. Isis is a fertility goddess, and as the mother of Horus her maternal role extended to the population of Egypt. She was also known as healer, resurrector, and a goddess of magic and cunning.
