Who is Lalita?
Lalita Bakshi is the main character in the romantic musical "Bride & Prejudice". The film is a modern-day, Indian twist on the novel Pride & Prejudice. Played by Aishwarya Rai, lovely Lalita is one of four sisters living at home with their parents in India. She spurns and then is pursued by the handsome and wealthy American, William Darcy. The film is filled with bright colours, festivity, catchy and fun-filled music, singing, and dancing.
