What is a namelisting?
Essentially, a namelisting is the same as a fanlisting except that it is for names. So here is the definition according to Janine, the founder of TheFanlistings.Org: A fanlisting is "a place for all the fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people all around the world who are fans of that subject." In this case, Of the Sea is here to unite all fans of the name Mariska.

Why the name Mariska?
The name Mariska is one of my favourite names. I first discovered it while my mom was watching Law & Order. As the credits flashed across the screen my eyes caught the name Mariska Hargitay and I thought, hey, that's a really pretty name! I've loved it ever since. ^_^
