Mini Biography
I first discovered Patricia as an actress in the movie series "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns". Since then I have been fascinated by her beauty and acting ability. I do not think she has been given enough prominent roles in English-speaking movies for North Americans to truly understand who she is as an actress.
Born in Venezuela on January 31, 1971, Patricia is the daughter of two teachers. Her ancestry is Spanish and Amerindian (Wayuu). "Le Jaguar" (1996) was her first movie. Her most notable role is that of Anck Su Namun in the series "The Mummy" (1999) and "The Mummy Returns" (2001). A few other movies she has appeared in include "Committed" (2000), "Mindhunters" (2004), and "Zapata: The Dream of a Hero" (2004).
As well as being interested in acting, she also pursued modeling. In 1998, Patricia walked runway for such designers as Antonio Berardi, Bella Freud, Corinne Cobson, Claude Montana, and Dolce & Gabbana. She also appeared in advertisements for Chanel's Allure perfume, Victoria's Secret, to name a few. Patricia now models for L'Oréal.
