Summary
Relic Hunter hit the air in 1999 and ran for three consecutive seasons, ending in 2002. The show stars Tia Carrere as kick-butt Ancient Studies professor and relic-hunter, Sydney Fox, as well as Christien Anholt as her loyal assistant, Nigel Bailey. Sydney's love of adventure always sends the duo on the trail of a lost artifact. With Nigel by her side, there is definitely a bit of humour. Also on the cast list is Tanja Reichert who plays Sydney's second office assistant, Karen. She is always there to safeguard Sydney's relics or information. When the show aired in its first two seasons, Lindy Booth played Claudia, the original office assistant. A little on the ditzy side, Claudia still manages to help out Syd and Nigel. Claudia is replaced by Karen when she gets her "dream job" and leaves. The show had been filmed in such places as Toronto, Paris, Seville, and England. What I love about this show is the action, fight-scenes, treasure-hunting, and funny one-liners!
