Information
Until early December 2003, I never had a collective site. My websites were scattered here and there and I wanted a place where I could list everything in an organized fashion so it would be easier for visitors as well as for myself. And so I created Kittenesque, a little collective hosted at my personal domain.
On December 20, 2004 I registered Music-is-Magic.net and bought my first reseller account from Netrillium Webhosting. In May I switched my reseller hosting package to Surpass Hosting due to problems with my previous host. I am happy to be hosted where I am and cannot recall having any serious issues with the company.
In April 2006 I switched the main account on my reseller to Kyslota.net and so this site is now hosted under that reseller rather than as the main account.
After owning Music-is-Magic.net for almost two years, I grew tired of the name and wanted something new. I knew I wanted a .nu extension and after a few days of contemplating my list of possible domain names, I came up with Kelene.nu. The word kelene does not have a particular meaning that I can discover; it's a Greek name I have always thought was pretty neat (found it in a book I read a couple years ago). It is short and sweet, and can be pronounced ke-LEE-nah or ke-LEE-nee (like the Greek Selene).
Once again I grew tired of that name after a year and a half and opened Quicksylver.org. Hopefully this is where I will stay!
